Design Integration Laboratory

— The Great Buildings Collection —

The Design Integration Laboratory is a broad-focus architectural research group working to support better architecture. Our goal is to enable more practical, comfortable, and beautiful buildings by empowering architects with integrative design tools, not design machines.

Funded by grants, private donations, and project contracts, we work with local, national and international projects, within academia, in professional realms, and with private industry to build, demonstrate, and apply new tools and media for environment designers.

Our skills and experience encompass tool and reference software development, design systems consulting, and services in building and urban modeling and visualization and building design. We are pleased to include many talented student apprentices, as well as a broadly experienced professional staff.
